Why women should wear Bangles?

My grandmother asks me to wear bangles, which is hectic to me… why women should wear bangles..? is there any use of it or just for fashion..?

First of all, decide yourself whether you want to be a freak devoid of all rituals and lead a hippy life or think that every reaction has an action and that is the reason our vedic system had prescribed some rules/rituals for women to lead a pious life.

Managala dravya (Auspicious Articles) were meant and used as an aide to reach spirituality and the almighty Hari Hara in the past. Today our hectic life forces us to cut short all this and adapt to fast life which is imported from outside.  Is it not a satirical that westerners are trying to ape our culture where we are vis a vis.

On this note, I have extracted this information on Mangala dravya for ladies to be used in daily life which I do not think so takes hell out of time and yet marks a fashion statement too.

Married  Stree called Sumangalis, in  her  daily routine  should be using the Mangala Dravyas are:

1. Kunkuma
2. Arishina (Haridraa ChhorNa)
3. Hoovu (Flower)
4. Chanadana
5. Agaru
6. Sri Gandha (Sandal wood)
7. KaNNina kappu (KADige) (Eyetex)
8. Punugu (Sri Gandha mishrita Taila)Sandalwood oil
9. DarpaNa (Mirror)
10. Kai TODu BaLe ( Bangles ): Existed  In olden days -Vajra Kachita manufactured in gold, silver and Bronze. Now a days we see Glass Bangles. In olden days they used to wear Pachche BaLe ( metal bangles) instead of Glass Bangles Shastras also tell that Glass Bangles are  precious. Glass Bangles brought from stores must be washed in water, dried. Offered worship reciting Sri sookta, and offer to ( lakshmi devi )Rama Devi thinking DurgA Roopi, must wear them. Shastras say that things touched by  such Strees are Shuddha and sacred and all would be pleased to  hear the jingling of the sound  coming  from  these glass Bangles.

So, here goes our shasthra and nothing harm creating your own charm with the chinkling bangles.  See if you can wear gold / glass/metal if not why not wear something which is in vogue.

Ya here is the scientific reason behind the topic.

In olden day the bangles are made up of PanchaLoha ( made with 5 types of metal copper has major because which is very good in ionization and silver which stand 2nd, Gold, bronze, and a bit iron ) U know that all metals are very good for health, and if lady wear bangle the metal reacts( While bath with hot water or any possible ways) with the body and it strengthen the week nerves on her wrist, In olden days women used to work in farms and with trees and all they will be risk of damage on her  wrist hence told to wear bangle it may protect physically and also   strengthen the nerves by inside.

Not only women used to wear ,In olden day even men was told to wear the Kadgaha. (bracelet).

Why Women is told to wear toe ring

Do u know y women is told to wear the toe ring , the one of the nerve from the ovary is connected to the 2nd toe finger in your leg so to strengthen the nerve and to avoid damage women in told to wear toe ring.

Why We have to put rangoli in front of the house

In early days Rangoli is made to put with the rice flour, Which is used to serve as a food for ants. Like that it has taken designed and creative form and has become rangoli with color and all and the rangoli powder as also change according to the modern period. but the goal of putting rangoli is to feed the ants.

Hindusm has scientific reason behind all of its culture so try to explore it and respect it.

Hi, In the Lal Kitab, basis have been given for no. of such common things. For instance, nose representing Mercury used to be punctured with silver wire  (Moon) to keep Mercury effect in auspicious direction. Gold (Jup) is suggested for ears (Ketu) to keep good its effects. Many such things are given in this book which  reveal the underlying basis for such rituals/practices.

With reference to Ms.Pranathi’s post .There seems to be some scientific significance of wearing bangles if you can consider Reflexology. A scientific messaging and curative therapy supplementary to Ayurveda.The Chinese also practise it with a slightly different fundamentals under the Acupunture system.

The bangles are worn on the wrists and directly or indirectly keep applying a certain amount of pressure around all the points surrounding the wrist .These correspond to some very significant points such as Blood Pressure ,the Genital organs etc.(according to accupressure system) thereby tonifying them and keeping the person, Female or Male’s whosoever is wearing the Bangle, internal condition in a more functional state.

This could one of the reasons ,apart from being a convinient beauty accessory of those times.Wear it and see for yourself if you find any changes .Also please get back we could also benefit from your research.

through my expierence of wearing bangles and removing them sometimes the effect is quick to see . the bangles protect my wrist from burns while frying protects my hands from direct heat while cooking and act as defence weapon to attack.
