Ganesh Jayanti at Charpokcha Raja Ganeshotsav Mandal
Charkopcha Raja Ganeshotsav Mandal is one of the famous Maghi Ganeshutsav mandals in Mumbai, Maharashtra. In 2021, Maghi Ganeshotsav date is February 15.
“Charkopcha Raja” Ganeshotsav mandal was launched by inspiration from “Doosra Kumbharwada” maghi Ganeshotsav! Young & active teenagers from charkop used to go and visit regularly to this Maghi Ganeshotsav, while doing so it came to their mind to start a similar festival at charkop as well and thus was ‘Charkop cha Raja Ganeshotsav Mandal’ established in 2006.
Now this festival would be completing 9 years of celebration and worship. Every year the members of the mandal brought innovative changes in the celebration ofGaneshotsav and since its inception residents from Charkop and people from nearby vicinity actively participated with the Mandal for celebrating this festival with a lot of enthusiasm and support.
This is the ninth year of “Maghi festival” which is organised and clebrated by Charkopcha Raja sarvajanik utsav mandal. Because of the overwhelming response we recieved last year,this year festival will continue for 7 days.
During the festival there will be various religious activities for student and senior citizens which will also include Atharvashirsh and swahakar. In these 7 days all Rituals are keenly observed with adecent presentation, which has been an attraction for almost 7000 and odd Bhaktajans visiting this event every day.
Every day is a special day with special ritual has been very popular. It is wonderful that the response to “Charkopcha Raja festival” is similar to our traditional Ganeshotsav of Mumbai.
