Hyderabad City Police Commissioner & Addl District Magistrate (Executive) I. Anjani Kumar ordered closure of toddy and wine shops, including Bars in Restaurants (excluding Bars in Star hotels & Registered Clubs) in Central and North Zones from 6 am on July 29 to 6 am on July 31.during Sri Ujjaini Mahankali Jathara (Bonalu festival) in Secunderabad.

Accordingly, all the toddy and wine shops in North zone under Gopalpuram division like Gopalpuram, Chillkalguda, Lalaguda , Tukaramgate police stations; Mahankali division – Mahankali, Market, Marredpally , Karkhana police stations, Begumpet division — Begumpet, Trimulgherry police stations and Saifabad, Chikkadpally divisions Ramgopalpet and Gandhinagar police stations in Central Zone will remain closed.

Traffic Regulation

The Police Commissioner ordered regulation of traffic in Secunderabad during the Bonalu festival from 4 am on July 29 to 10 pm on July 30. The road leading to Mahankali Temple from Tobacco Bazar Hill Street and General Bazar Secunderabad will be closed for all vehicular traffic.
Subash Road starting from Bata X roads up to Ramgopalpet PS Secunderabad will be closed for all vehicular traffic.
The road leading to Mahankali Temple from Advaiah X roads Secunderabad will be closed for all vehicular traffic.
The road leading to Mahankali Temple from General Bazar Secunderabad will be closed for all vehicular traffic.

Traffic Diversions

Ranigunj x roads: General Traffic and RTC Buses coming from Karbala Maidan will be diverted at Ranigunj x roads towards Minister Road – Rasoolpura x roads – R/T – CTO – SBH x roads – YMCA x roads – St.John’s Rotary – Gopalapuram Lane – Railway Station.

Note: RTC Buses return from Railway Station towards Tank bund will pass through Alfa Hotel x road – Gandhi X roads- Sajjanlal street – Old Tr.P.S.Mahankali – Ghasmandi – Bible house –Karbala Maidan
RTC Buses return from Railway Station towards Tadban and Begumpet will pass through Clock Tower – Patny X roads/ YMCA X road – SBH x roads.

Ghasmandi X roads: General Traffic coming from Bible house will be diverted at Ghasmandi x roads towards Sajjanlal Street and Hill street.

Patny x roads : General Traffic coming from SBH x roads towards R.P.Road will be diverted at Patny x roads towards Clock Tower and Paradise.
General Traffic coming from Paradise towards R.P.Road will be diverted at Patny x roads towards SBH or Clock Tower.
General Traffic coming from Clock Tower towards R.P.Road will be diverted at Patny x roads towards SBH X roads and Paradise.

Paradise X roads : General Traffic coming from CTO Junction towards M.G.Road will be diverted at Paradise X roads towards HDFC Bank – L/T – Sindhi Colony – R/T – Minister Road – L/T- Ranigunj X roads –R/T – Karbala Maidan. Traffic coming from Patny x roads will be diverted at Paradise x roads towards CTO Junction.
ON July 30 FROM 1400 HOURS TO 2200 HOURS:

The Road between Secunderabad Railway Station towards St.Mary’s Road will be closed for all vehicular traffic.
All buses proceeding towards Secunderabad Railway Station from Hakeempet, Bowenpally, Balanagar and Ameerpet will be terminated at Clock Tower and they will return to their destinations on the same route i.e., Via: Patny, SBH X Road.

PARKING PLACES

For the vehicles coming from St.Johns Rotary, Sweekar Upkar, SBH side will park their vehicles at Hari Hara Kala Bhavan / Mahboobia College.

For the vehicles coming from Karbla Maidan, Bible House, Ghansmandi side will park their vehicles in Islamia High School

For the vehicles coming from Ranigunj &; Adaiah X Roads side will park their vehicles in Govt. Adaiah Memorial High School, Adaiah X Roads, Ranigunj, Secunderabad.

For the vehicles coming from Subhash Road side will park their vehicles at Old Jailkhana open place.
For the vehicles coming from Manju Theater side will park their vehicles at Anjali Theater lane.
