Bangalore Durga Puja Pandal to integrate Kannada and Bengali culture for Durga Puja 2010

Ulsoor Durga Puja pandal in Bangalore has decided to integrate the Kannada and Bengali culture for Durga Puja 2010. Bengali Association of Ulsoor, Bangalore, will celebrate 51st Durga Puja this year with this grand theme to honor the legends of Kannada literature along with the national pride Rabindranath Tagore by dedicating pavilions for them.

Ulsoor based Bengali Association of Bangalore has decided to felicitate three living legends of Kannada literature (Jnanpith awardees from Karnataka) on October 10th. The second attraction of this Durga pandal is ‘Gitanjali’ which will be an integration of Terracotta Mandir of Bishnupur in West Bengal, Hampi Virupaksha temple, and Somnathapura Kesava temple.
