‘Ammavari Vasthram’ is a daily Seva at Vijayawada Kanakadurga Temple. The Temple authorities of Sri Durga Malleshwara Swamy, Vijayawada, has started Sri Ammavari Vasthram as Daily Seva in May 2017.
Kanakadurga Temple of Vijayawada (Durga Malleshwara Swamy Devasthanam) is one of the most famous Temples in Andhra Pradesh. It is the second largest temple in the state after the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam.
The temple is located on the Indrakeeladri hill, on the banks of Krishna River. Kaalika puraana, Durgaa sapthashati and other vedic literature have mentioned about Goddess Kanaka Durga on the Indrakeelaadri and have described the deity as Swayambhu, (self-manifested) in Triteeya kalpa.

Dravyams: All the below said poojadravyams will be arranged by the SDMS Devasthanam (Pattu saree -1, Ravika-1, Pancha-1, Pasupu 500gms, Kumkuma 500gms, Bangles dozen Vadibiyyam 250gms, Coconut -1, Cow ghee 500gms, Ghandam 50gms, Honey 50gms)
Prasadams: Sri Ammavarinirmalyapupattu saree (Saree dressed to Ammavarlu), Pancha, Ammavari Photo/dollar, kesari/daddhojanam/jilebi and srichakraladdu.
Vidhi Vidhanam: The couple will be taken around Ammavari Temple with pattuvastram, Ammavaritholi Darshanam with harathi, gotranamarchana, vastrasamarpana, asirvachanam and prasada vitharanam.
Importance: Grace and bliss of tholi darshanam, presenting pattu saree and other saare dravyams will give wealth, health and attaining one’s goals.
