Performance of 21,000 sq. ft Huge Traditional Rangoli

Since nine years Shree Kopineshwar Sanskrutik Nyas has been arranging the welcome procession on the occasion of Gudhi-Padwa (Marathi New Year) in Thane City. On this Occasion a special event of drawing ‘Huge Traditonal Group Rangoli’ (21,000 sq. ft Rangoli) a different concept to promote this Rangoli will be drawn by nearly 100 artists of Rangvalli Parivar at Gavdevi Maidan, Near Station, Thane-w.
Kaupineshwar Sanskrutik Nyas, Vishwas Samajik Sanstha & Rangvalli Parivar jointly organizes the event. The Rangoli will be drawn on 14th March 2010, the opening ceremony is at 7pm on the same day (two days prior to Gudi Padwa i.e. 16th March 2010). The concept behind this Huge Rangoli is by Mr. Ved a leader and Mr. Kishor Thakre. The aim is to purify the environment, creates holy and happy atmosphere.
Rangvalli parivar is seeking to nurture Rangoli as an art by propagating, spreading, populerising and publishing Inadian Culture and Tradition through the medium of Rangoli. The first institute to dare to draw such a big Rangolis on the public festival like Gudi Padwa and promoted this art to every part of the society, institute engaged in training many rangoli art lovers, nearly 18,000 rangoli artists trained by Rangvalli and these are the members of the institute. The rangoli dots does not only connect the dots of rangoli but also the hearts & minds of the artist and art lovers, the main source to be united in the society is rangoli, that helps all to come together for social cause.
To enjoy this festival every citizen art lover, well wishers are co-ordially invited to see a huge performance of Rangoli as an Art at the opening ceremony of this Huge Rangoli
