Brahmotsav in Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple, Yadagiri gutta are held from 26th, February, Thursday to 8th March, Sunday in 2009. Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy, who consecrated in Yadagirigutta is also called as Ekashikhara Vaasudu (one who emerged on a single hill, whereas Tirupati Balaji is called as Yadukondala Swamy, which means he is on seven hills) in local language Telugu.
Procession of Utsav Vigraha:
On third day onwards temple archakas start the presiding deity Lord Sri Laxmi Narasimha Swamys Utsav idol will be taken to procession (Thiru Veedhi Sevalu) in temple surroundings. Brahmotsavalu are celebrated in the presence of thousands of devotees from across the world.
Events in Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Bramhotsav:
In this Brahmotsavam, every god is worshipped along with Lord Narasimha. Panchabhoota Adhipathis (Deities of primordial elements) are also worshipped. Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Kalyanam, Thiru Utsavam, Rathotsavam are celebrated during the Bramhotsavam.
Narasimha Dwadasi or Nrusimha Dwadashi in 2009:
Narasimha Dwadasi is celebrated on March 8, Sunday. It is also called as Govinda Dwadasi. On this day the Narasimha Bramhotavams are concluded.
