Sri Krishna Janmashtami in Juhi ISKCON Temple, Mumbai, will be celebrated with utmost pomp and gaiety by thousands of devotees. Sri Krishna Janmashtami 2012 date is 10th August and the celebrations in ISKCON temple Mumbai will start on 9th August. The temple authorities allow all devotees to have darshan from 8 am to midnight on 9th and 10th of August 2012. ISKCON temple Juhu hosts the largest Janmashtami celebrations of its kind.
The presiding Deities at the temple are Sri Sri Gaura-Nitai, Sri Sri Radha Rasabihari and Sri Sri Sita Rama Laxman Hanuman.The Deities were personally installed by His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada.

If you belong to Vaishnava sect you have to celebrate Janmashtami on September 2nd and if you follow Smartha sect you need to celebrate it on September 1st.
