Labh Pancham 2010 – Laakheni Panchami or Saubhagya Panchami in 2010

Labh Pancham or Laakheni Panchami, also referred as Saubhagya Panchami, is the final day of Diwali festival. Labh Pancham 2010 date is November 10. It is observed on Panchami, fifth day during Kartik month. Labh Pancham is considered as an auspicious day to perform or start business activities. On this day, businessmen open their accounts after performing Lakshmi Puja and Sharda Puja. Labh means benefit in many Indian languages and as per the Hindus believe the works or activities started on Labh Panchami will go ahead successfully without any obstacles.

On Labh Panchami day, people visit their friends and relatives and wish them and offer gifts and sweets to them. On this day, Goddess Lakshmi is worshipped along with her treasurer Kubera. In some places, Lord Vishnu is also worshipped. Laab Pancham is also called as Pandav Panchami and Kada Panchami.
