Vishnupathi or Vishnupati Punyakalam (Haripada Punyakalam) is the most auspicious time to worship Lord Vishnu. Vishnupathi is observed once in three months and four times in a year. In 2023, first Vishnupati Punyakala date is February 13, 2023. It is the first Vishnupati in 2023. The time to observe the rituals of Vishnupati punyakalam is – 1.30 am to 10.30 am on February 13.
Kumbha Sankranti marks the day on which Sun starts transition towards Kumbha Rashi (Aquarius zodiac) from Makara Rashi (Capricorn zodiac). Kumbha Sankramana, Vrishabha Sankramana, Simha Sankramana & Vrischika Sankramana mark the Vishnupathi Punyakalam.
