Vidya Saraswati Sharan Navaratri 2011 in Vargal Saraswati Temple

Vidya Saraswati Sharan Navaratri is one of the biggest festivals celebrated at Vargal Sri Vidya Saraswati Temple, Medak district of Andhra Pradesh. Devi Saran Navaratri 2011 starts on 28th September and ends on October 5, 2011 with Mahanavami Puja. Vishesha pujas will be held on four days – 28th September, October 4, 5 and 6 October. Moola nakshatra Saraswati Puja (the most auspicious Durga Puja) during Navaratri 2011 is celebrated on 4 October, Tuesday.

Wednesday, 28 September 2011 – 5.45 am onwards: Vighneshwara Puja, Mahabhishekam, Kalasha Sthapana, Devi Chatuss sashti Upachara Puja, Aarti, and Mantrapushpam and Theertha Prasadam.

Sunday, 2 October 2011 – at 11 am Bhajan program by Sree Tadbund Veeranjaneya swamy Devasthanam Bhajana Samajam, Secunderabad and Sree Kanyaka Parameshwari Bhajana Samajam, Secunderabad.

Tuesday, 4 October 2011 – Moola Nakshatra Saraswati Puja (Pustakaroopini Saraswati Pooja)

10 am onwards: Laksha Pushparchana.

11 am onwards: Moola nakshatram, Sri Vidya Saraswati Pustaka puja, Aarati, and Thirtha prasadam.

Wednesday, 5 October 2011 – at 8.30 am Sri Vidya Saraswati Devi Ashtothara Shata Kalashabhishekam, Homam, Poornahuthi, Aarti, Mantra Pushpam, and Thirtha Prasadam.

Thursday, 6 October 2011 – Vijaya Dashami.

At 5 am – Abhishekam, at 8.30 am Sri Vidya Saraswati Devi Vijaya Darshanam, Aarti, Mantrapushpam and Thirtha Prasadam, at 5 pm Shami Puja.
