Aani Thirumanjanam or Aani Uthiram festival dedicated to Lord Natarajar is the major festival celebrated in Chidambaram Natarajar temple. In 2012, Aani Thirumanjana festival date is June 26. During this festival, Chidambaram Nataraja swamy temple Brahmotsavam is also celebrated.
Aani Uthiram is celebrated for 11 days in the Tamil month of Aani. Sakala Dravya Mahabhishekam is the major ritual observed on Aani Thirumanjanm day in Nataraja swamy temple.
