Tala Navami 2017 | Tal Nabami Vrat

Tala Navami (Tal Nabami Vrat) is observed in Bhadra Month in Bengal, Odisha and some other parts of Eastern India. In 2017, Tala Navami date is August 30.

It falls on the ninth day of Shukla in Bhadra Month as per North Indian calendars. Married women observe Upvaas (fasting) on this day and offer special pujas to Goddess Durga.

Tala Navami also marks the beginning of preparations for Durga Puja. In other places of India, Tal Nabami vrat is observed with the name of Nanda Navami Durga Puja.

    But when i searched for TALA NAVAMI 2012, i found this post which has information about tala navami very basic, such as date and when it observed not more than that.

    Why don’t you update article with more information about tala navami
