The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) launched Sri Seva, a multi-purpose e-package which provides arjitha sevas, seeghra darshan and accommodation to devotees under one umbrella. The TTD specified authority met in Tirupati on October 4th 2010 and decided to start the Sri Seva pilot project which will become full-fledged service in a year. Devotees will get rid of waiting for hours with this new service. The authority also admitted that there are several drawbacks and technical disadvantages in computerization of seva tickets.
The TTD specified authority has also decided to transform Bengalore Kalyanamandapam into Kalakshetram which will be intended for devotional and cultural activities. The authority also decided to limit the VIP break darshan in TTD temple for 30 minutes. Presently, VIP darshan break is for one hour and beyond.
