Sri Ramachandraswamy Pattabhishekam 2017 in Bhadrachalam Temple will be held on April 6. It is performed the day following Sri Rama Navami (Chaitra Shukla Dasami).
Pushkara Pattabhishekam, also known as Sri Rama Samrajya Pattabhisheka Mahotsavam was conducted at Sri Seeta Ramachandra swamy temple in Bhadrachalam in April 2014 on the following day of Sri Rama Navami.
Pushkara Pattabhishekam was performed for once in 12 years (2011).
The announcement of this event was made on Vaikunta Ekadasi last year. As part of this auspicious event, Abhishekam to the presiding deity with the holy water of all rivers in India is performed.
Sri Seetha Rama Kalyana Mahotsavam, divine marriage ceremony of Lord Sri Ram and Goddess Sita, will be held on 5 April, 2017 (Sri Rama Navami day).
Bhadrachalam temple committee and government officials are making arrangements for the auspicious programs to be conducted for Sriramanavami celebrations. Approximately a million devotees will visit the temple during the Sri Rama Navami Brahmotsavams.
