Special Trains for Vindhyachal Vanavasini Navratra Mela 2014….
In view of Navratra Mela to be organised from September 25 to October 8, North Central Railway has decided to make comprehensive arrangements at Vindhyachal station, abode of Vindhyavasini Devi. People from all over the country visit this religious place to pay obeisance at the shrine. In this connection, extra booking counters will be opened and railway staff at the station will be increased for providing facilities.
Several trains will also be given stoppages.
Five additional ticket counters will be opened. Paramedical staff will be posted at the station for providing medical aid to passengers. Volunteers of scouts and guides will also be present. Security will also be upgraded.
The trains that have been given stoppages at Vindhyachal station for two minutes are 12295/12296 Bangalore-Patna Sanghamitra Express, train number 12801/12802 Puri-New Delhi Puroshattam Express, train number 12141/12142 Lokmanya Tilak terminus-Patna Superfast Express, train number 12307/12308 Howrah-Jodhpur Express, train number 12487/12488 Anand Vihar Terminal-Jogbani Express, train number 14055/14056 Dibrugarh-Delhi Brahmaputra Express, train number 15645/15646 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus-Guwhati Express, train number 12335/12236 Bhagalpur- Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Express and train number 12167/12168 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus-Varanasi Express.
Train number 54105/54106 Allahabad-Chunar passenger has been extended upto Varanasi. This extension will be applicable on this train from September 25 to October 6. Two additional general coaches will also be attached to this train.
