Special trains will be run in the Kochuveli-Santragachi section via Kottayam and Chennai Central to clear the rush of passengers (to Kolkata from Kerala).
The Kochuveli-Santragachi superfast special (06318) will leave Kochuveli at 8.45 am on Saturday and reach Santragachi at 7.10 am on Monday.
In the return direction, the Santragachi-Kochuveli superfast special (06317) will leave Santragachi at 7 pm on Tuesday and reach Kochuveli at 4.45 pm on Thursday.
The trains will stop at Kollam, Kayamkulam, Mavelikkara, Chengannur, Thiruvalla, Kottayam, Ernakulam Town, Aluva, Thrissur, Palakkad, Coimbatore, Tirupur, Erode, Salem, Jolarpettai, Katpadi, Arakkonam, Chennai Central, Gudur, Nellore, Ongole, Tenali, Vijayawada, Eluru, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Visakhapatnam, Vizhianagaram, Khurda road, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Bhadrak, Balasore and Kharagpur.
