Special Trains for Tirumala Brahmotsavam 2011 for Tirupati from Vizag, Secunderabad

South Central Railway (SCR) will run special trains for Tirumala Brahmotsavam 2011 between Secunderabad and Tirupati; Vizag and Tirupati from September 29 to October 5 and September 27 to December 28 respectively.

Secunderabad – Tirupati Special trains

The Secunderabad- Tirupati Special would depart Secunderabad on September 29, October 4 and 6 at 11 pm and arrive at Tirupati at noon the next day.

In the return direction, the Tirupati -Secunderabad Special would depart Tirupati on September 30, October 5 and 7 at 10 pm and arrive at Secunderabad at 9.10 am the next day.

Enroute, these trains would stop at Kazipet, Warangal, Kesamudram, Mahabuba bad, Khammam, Madhira Vjayawada, Tenali, Chirala, Ongole, Nellore, Gudur, Venkatagiri, Srikalahasthi and Renigunta in both the directions.

These Special trains would consist of AC 2 Tier, AC 3 Tier, sleeper class and general second class accommodation.

Special trains between Vizag and Secunderabad

The Vishakhapatnam-Secunderabad weekly special would depart Vishakhapatnam at 7.40 pm on Tuesdays from September 27 till December 27 (14 services) and arrive at Secunderabad at 9 am the next day.

The Secunderabad-Vishakhapatnam weekly special train will depart Secunderabad at 9.30pm on Wednesdays from September 28 till December 28 (14 services) and arrive Vishakhapatnam at 10.15 am the next day.

Enroute, these trains would stop at Duvvada, Anakapalli, Tuni, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Tadepalligudem, Eluru, Vijayawada, Madhira, Khammam, Warangal and Kazipet in both directions. They would also have one AC II Tier, one AC III Tier, eight sleeper class, five general second class, two Second class luggage cum brake van coaches.
Timings revised: The timings of Tirupati-Guntakal Passenger would be revised between Dharmavaram and Guntakal with effect from October1. Accordingly, the Tirupati-Guntakal Passenger would arrive at Dharmavaram at 5.20 pm, depart at 5.25 pm and arrive at Guntakal at 8.05pm.
Enroute, it would depart Chigicherla at 5.38 pm, Zangalapalli at 5.49pm, Anantapur at 6.12 pm, Garladinne at 6.34 pm, Kalluru at 6.46 pm, Khadarpet at 6.57 pm, Venkatampalle at 7.09 pm, Gulapalyamu at 7.20 pm, and Hanuman Circle at 7.27 pm.
