Shri Krishna Temple West Bromwich in West Midlands opened for devotees

Shri Krishna Temple of in Old Meeting Street of West Bromwich was opened on August 30th Monday in 2010 for devotees amidst the Vedic hymns and rituals. West Bromwich is a town in Metropolitan Borough of Sandwell of West Midlands in England. The same temple was destroyed by fire 18 years ago and the Hindu community reconstructed the temple and opened for worship on Monday. The celebrations will last for 9 days.

The Hindu community of West Bromwich raised nearly £2m for the construction of Shri Krishna temple in Old Meeting Street. Devotees will celebrate their first festival (Janmashtami) in this temple on September 2nd, 2010.
