Sabarimala Ayyappa Temple Opening dates in November 2011 – November 2011 Monthly Puja in Sabarimala

For November 2011 monthly puja, opening date of Sabarimala Ayyappa temple is November 16. It marks the beginning of Mandala kalam and Mandala puja for Sabarimala Ayyappa deeksha. Sabarimala Ayyappa Devaswom Board is expecting that more than 50 million devotees will visit the temple during 2011 – 2012 season. During Thulam masam of Malayalam calendar, on 30^th day of the Kerala month of 1187 (2011 – 2012), (16^th November 2011) the temple opens at 5.00 in the evening.

After Mandala Kalam or Mandala puja for 41 days, Sabarimala temple closes on 27^th December 2011 (11 Dhanu masam 1187 in Malayalam calendar).
