Pushpayagam 2015 in Tirumala Tirupati Balaji Temple

Pushpayagam or Varshika Pushpa yagam (Annual flower festival) is held in Karthika masam (October – November) at Tirumala Tirupati Balaji temple. In 2015, Pushpayagam date is November 18. It falls on Shravana Nakshatram in Karthika Masam as per Telugu Panchangam.

On this day, Lord Sri Venkateswara swamy is worshipped with tonnes of special flowers grown in Srivari Udyanavanam (TTD flower gardens).

Pushpayagam is celebrated in all 22 temples in Tirumala Tirupati. More than 20 types of flowers are used in this flower festival of the Lord. Goddess Padmavathi is also worshipped with flowers during Karthika Brahmotsavam of Tiruchanur Padmavathi temple.

Pushpayagam is celebrated on Shravana Nakshatram in Karthika Masam as per Telugu Panchangam.

Ankurarpana for Pushpayagam is on 17 November and the Pushpayagam date is November 18.
