Mithila Panchang is an official Panchang in Mithila region of Bihar and Maithili speaking communities in Bihar and Nepal.
In order to prevent confusion in dates, a meeting of Panchang makers of Mithila was organized by Jyotish Research Center and All India Maithil Mahasabha at Balbhadrapur in Darbhanga.
The panchang makers fixed dates for the festivals, marriage, dwiragaman, yagyopavit and mundan. According to Mahasabha, there are – days decided for marriages in 2020. The following days are fixed in this year for Yagyopawit (Upnayan)-13, Mundan-20, Grih-Nirman – 19 (Griharambh), Grih-Pravesh – 13 and Dwiragman – 28 days.

We require auspicious dates of marriage according to Mithila panchang falling in Nov2o17 and onwards.As we have to go for booking venue specific dates in Nov 2017 is required but panchang ends by July so it would be too late to wait for new panchang so request u to let me know the dates of marriage Nov 2017.

For Grih Pravesh dates, there is confusion.. first dates for months August, November , December ’17 are given, then March 17 onwards. Either 2016 or 2018 is to be substituted . Regds
