In Hinduism, there are many Gods and Goddesses. Among the several interesting facts related to Lord Shiva, the foremost interesting facts are that the Lord is The God Who’s Always High, The destructive force. And The Lord is the most fascinating of Gods.

Lord Shiva is the dissolving direct or indirect force in life Unlike Lord Vishnu is the Preserver and the godhead Brahma is the Creator. It is to be remembered that Lord Shiva largely dissolves in order to create newly therefore death is the only medium for rebirth into a new life. Lord Shiva is believed strongly to be at the core of the centrifugal force of the given universe, it is primarily because of his responsibility for destruction and death.

The Lord is a complicated deity among the deities of Hinduism. The Lord is frequently portrayed by the followers of Hinduism as the supreme ascetic, with composed and passive disposition. The Nandi decked in garlands is vehicle of this Lord. It is to be noted that Lord Shiva is one of the most and foremost fascinating of Hindu gods.

On the day of Maha Shivaratri, menfolk drink “Thandai” and indulge in song and dance with the rhythm of the drum beats. It is to be noted that in Northern India, Lord Shiva was fed with opium therefore the Lord is termed as “Bhole Shankar”. The Lord is also the most worshipped and prayed God in Hinduism. Lord Shiva is considered as a mighty and perfect destructive power.
