Khairatabad Ganesh Nimajjanam Shobha Yatra 2017 date is September 5. In 2017, Khairatabad Ganesh Nimajjana Shobha Yatra begins at 6 AM and Nimajjanam ends by 12 in the noon as per the prior schedule and planning by Khairatabad Ganesh Utsava Samithi and Hyderabad Police.
For this Shobha Yatra, the traffic diversions and traffic regulations are implemented from 9 AM, 5 September. Police are taking every possible step to accomplish Ganapathi immersion. Hyderabad Traffic Police also gave Helpline numbers for any clarifications.. 040-27852482, 94905 98985, 90102 03626.
The major procession begins from Balapur at 6 AM. This Shobha Yatra goes through Aliabad, Nagulchintha, Charminar, Afzalgunj, MJ Market, Abids, Basheerbagh, Liberty, Upper Tank Bund, NTR Marg. The Ganapathi idols from these areas will join the procession at their respective areas.
The Shobha Yatra from Secunderabad leads through RP Road, MG Road, Karbala Maidan, Kavadiguda, Musheerabad Cross Roads, RTC X Roads, Narayanaguda Cross Roads, Himayatnagar Y Junction, Liberty and then it joins the first route.
The Shobha Yatra from East parts of Hyderabad goes through Uppal, Ramantapur, Amberpet, Osmania University NCC, Durgabhai Deshmukh Hospital, RTC X Roads and then the path joins the second route map.
The Shobha Yatra from West parts of Hyderabad goes through MJ Market, Secretariat, and join the path at Telugu Talli Statue.
In these roads, no normal traffic would be allowed from 9 AM, 5 September to 8 AM, 6 September 2017.

Institute of Engineering College, Khairatabad; Rangareddy Zilla Parishad Office, Anandnagar Colony; Goseva Sadan; Kattamaisamma Temple; Nizam College; Khairatabad MMTS Station; Buddhabhavan backside; Lower Tank Bund; NTR Stadium; Public Gardens.
The Hyderabad Traffic Police has placed certain restrictions in connection with the Ganesh idols immersion processions on August 27, 29, 31 and from September 2 to 4. The restrictions will be in force from 3 p.m. onwards on these days.
At Hotel Marriot (Viceroy) Junction: Traffic coming from Karbala Maidan will not be allowed towards Upper Tank Bund and diverted towards Kavadiguda X-Roads. Vehicles intending to go towards Liberty will have to take the route via Kavadiguda X-Roads, Gandhi Nagar, DBR Mills, Indira Park and Domalguda. Those intending to go towards Khairatabad and Panjagutta may take the route via Ranigunj, Nallagutta, Sanjeevaiah Park, Necklace Road and Khairatabad flyover.
At Necklace Rotary: Traffic from Khairatabad flyover will not be allowed towards NTR Marg, and diverted towards Necklace Road or Mint Compound Road.
At Telugu Talli Statue Junction: Traffic will not be allowed towards NTR Marg and diverted towards Iqbal Minar at Telugu Talli Junction and traffic going towards Secunderabad will take Telugu Talli Flyover and will go to Katta Maisamma Temple, DBR Mills and then proceed via Children Park, Sailing Club, Karbala Maidan.
At DBR: Traffic coming from Goshala and proceeding towards upper tankbund will not be allowed and diverted at DBR towards Lower Tankbund.
The Traffic Police requested citizens to take alternate routes to avoid inconvenience.
