Kartika Masa 2010 in Kannda Calendar – Karthika Masa 2010 dates in Karnataka

Kartika masa or Karthika masa is the eighth month in Kannada calendar followed in Karnataka. Karthika masa 2010 dates – Karthik month 2010 begins on 7 November and ends on 5 December. In 2010, Kartika month is the ninth month due to the Adhika masa (Adhika vaishakha masa). This is the favorite month for Lord Vishnu, Lord Shiva, Goddess Lakshmi Devi, and Tulasi Mata.

Kartika Somavara vrata is an auspicious vrata dedicated to Lord Shiva. Shiva Puja is observed widely in Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh on Mondays in Karthik masa. Karthika Snana is also meritorious. Tulasi Habba or Tulasi Vivaha puja is observed from Kartika Ekadashi to Kartika Pournami. Ksheerabadhi Dwadashi is the best day to perform Tulasi Vivaha puja.
