Jyeshta Shukla Trayodashi Vrat which falls on 13th day in bright half of Jyeshta month (June), is known for the three meritorious vrata. As per ‘Chaturvarga Chintamani’, the standard scripture for Vratas and Pujas, three Vratas namely – Dhourbhagya Nashana Trayodashi vrat, Jathi Triratri Vrat, and Rambha Triratri Vrat.
In 2017, all these Vratas will begin on June 7.
Dhourbhagya Nashana Trayodashi is observed to get rid of poverty and unhappiness in life. Jathi Triratri Vratam is performed for the same purpose but begins on Jyeshta Shukla Trayodasi night and continues as per the Vrata niyama. Uma Maheswara Puja is observed in Rambha Triratri Vrat under the banana tree.
