Jhoola festival or Hindola Utsav, also known as Swing festival, is the most beautifully celebrated festival in Sri Krishna temples. In Vrindavan Banke Bihariji Temple, Jhoola festival 2017 date is July 26.
This is a month-long festival in most of the temples dedicated to Lord Krishna and Jagannath. It is celebrated on Haryali Teej day (third day in Shukla Paksha of Shravan month).
In Puri Jagannath Mandir, Jhula Festival or Jhulan Yatra is celebrated for 5 days which begins on August 3 and ends on August 7.
In all Gaudiya Matha temples, Jhulana Yatra (Swing festival) begins on August 3 and ends on August 7 in 2017.
In ISKCON Bangalore, Jhulan Utsava 2017 dates are – from August 3 to August 7.
In some temples Jhulan Utsav is celebrated for 13 days.
