How to reach Grishneshwar Jyotirlinga Temple, Ellora, Maharashtra

Ellora Caves is called as Ellooru, an archaeological site in North-West city of Aurangabad established by the Rashtrakuta Empire. Ellora symbolizes the essence of rock-cut architecture. The caves are actually assembled dig out of the perpendicular face of the Charanandri hills.

Air: Aurangabad is the closest airport with daily flights from Mumbai, Delhi, Jaipur, and Udaipur. Aurangabad is the domestic airport which is located 15 km from Ellora and Ajanta caves.

Train: Aurangabad is the closest railway station and continuous trains from Hyderabad, Mumbai, Amritsar and Delhi etc. You can also get an overnight train commencing from Mumbai.

Bus: Same, Aurangabad is easiest option for any type of transport that you can use to reach Ellora caves. You can opt for inter-state bus transport. Ellora is 30 km far from Aurangabad. Hence, you have two option left either you hoard an auto which charge almost 400 Rs or beside this, you can take Government buses from Central bus stands. Devotees and pilgrims can hire a taxi or auto to this shrine from the heart of the city and nearest towns.
