How to do Shayana Ekadasi Puja?
Clean the puja place and place the idols or images of Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Vishnu. First install Haridra Ganapati idol (Ganesh idol made up of turmeric powder) and perform Ganesh Puja. After that Lord Vishnu is also offered puja with Shodashopachar puja steps. Recite the following mantra:

And on Dwadasi wake up early morning and after having bath perform Vishnu puja. Devotees should break their fast and vrat during Dwadashi only. Those who will not break their fast during Dwadashi will not get merits and benefits of Shayani Ekadasi vrat.
