Eastern Railways will run special trains in 2011 for Durga Puja, Navratri, Diwali, Chhath Puja, Karva Chauth & all other Puja festival in September, October & November 2011. The trains will run between Kolkata, Delhi, Haridwar, New Jagpaiguri, Muzaffarpur, Howrah, Mumbai CST, Asansol & Alipurduar. Kolkata – Delhi weekly super fast special: Train Number 03125 / 03126 Via Dankuni
The puja special train will leave Kolkata on every Monday from 19 September to 14 November 2011. The dates are as follows:
19 September 2011, 26 September 2011, 03 October 2011, 10 October 2011, 17 October 2011, 24 October 2011, 31 October 2011, 07 November 2011 & 14 November 2011
Again the puja special train will leave Delhi on every Tuesday from 20 September to 15 November. The dates are as follows:
20 September 2011, 27 September 2011, 04 October 2011, 11 October 2011, 18 October 2011, 25 October 2011, 01 October 2011, 08 November 2011 & 15 November 2011.
The puja special train 2011 has stoppage at Durgapur, Asansol, Dhanbad, N.S.C.B.Gomo, Kodarma, Gaya, Mughalsarai, Kanpur, Dehri, Sasaram and Allahabad.
During the up journey, the special train will leave Kolkata station at 12.15 hr. It will reach New Delhi at 11.55 hr. During the down journey, the special train will leave New Delhi at 19.10 hr. It will reach Kolkata at 17.20 hr.
These puja special trains 2011 will have AC 2 tier – 1 coach, AC 3 tier – 1 coach, Sleeper class – 5 coach and 2nd class ordinary – 6 coach.
Kolkata – Haridwar weekly super fast special Train Number 03127 / 03128 Via Dankuni
The puja special train will leave Kolkata on every Saturday from 17 September to 12 November 2011. The dates are as follows:
17 September 2011, 24 September 2011, 01 October 2011, 08 October 2011, 15 October 2011, 22 October 2011, 29 October 2011, 05 November 2011 & 12 November 2011.
Again the puja special train will leave Haridwar every Monday from 19 September to 14 November. The dates are as follows:
19 September 2011, 26 September 2011, 03 October 2011, 10 October 2011, 17 October 2011, 24 October 2011, 31 October 2011, 07 November & 14 November 2011.
The puja special trains have stoppage at Burdwan, Durgapur, Asansol, Dhanbad, Sultanpur, Bereli, Kodarma, Gaya, Muradabad, Mughalsarai, Baranashi, Lucknow.
During the up journey, the train will leave Kolkata station at 22.40 hr. It will reach Hariduar at 01.30 hr. During the down journey, the train will leave Hariduar at 10.40 hr. It will reach Kolkata at 13.15 hr.
This special train will have AC 3 tier – 2 coach, Sleeper class – 9 coach, 2nd class ordinary – 2 coach.
Kolkata – New Jalpaiguri weekly special Train Number 03129 / 03130 Via Dankuni
The puja special trains 2011 will leave Kolkata on every Wednesday from 21 September to 12 October. The dates are as follows:

Again the puja special trains will leave New Jalpaiguri every Thursday from 22 September to 13 October. The dates are as follows:

During the up journey, the puja special trains will leave Kolkata station at 23.55 hr. It will reach New Jalpaiguri at 11.15 hr. During the down journey, the train will leave New Jalpaiguri at 12.45 hr. It will reach Kolkata at 23.20 hr.

The puja special trains 2011 will leave Kolkata on every Saturday from 17 September to 12 November 2011. The dates are as follows:

Again the puja special trains 2011 will leave Mazaffarpur every Sunday from 18 September to 13 November. The dates are as follows:

The puja special trains have stoppage at Naihati, Bandel, Burdwan, Durgapur, Asansol, Chittaranjan, Madhupur, Joshidi, Kiul, Jajah, Dalsingsarai, Barauni, Samastipur..
During the up journey, the puja special trains will leave Kolkata station at 20.55 hr. It will reach Muzaffarpur at 09.15 hr. During the down journey, the train will leave Muzaffarpur at 14.50 hr. It will reach Kolkata at 03.45 hr.
This special train will have AC 2 tier – 1 coach, AC 3 tier – 2 coach, Sleeper class – 6 coach, 2nd class ordinary – 6 coach.
Howrah – Mumbai CST weekly special Train Number 03061 / 03062
The puja special trains will leave Howrah on every Tuesday from 20 September to 15 November 2011. The dates are as follows:
20 September, 27 September, 04 October, 11 October, 18 October,25 October, 01 November, 08 November & 15 November 2011.
Again the puja special trains will leave Mumbai CST on every Thursday from 22 September to 17 November. The dates are as follows:
22 September, 29 September, 06 October, 13 October, 20 October, 27 October, 03 November, 10 November & 17 November 2011.
The puja special trains will stop at Burdwan, Durgapur, Asansol, Dhanbad, Parashnath, Kodarma, Dehari, Sasaram, Gaya, Mughalsarai, Mirzapur, Manikpur, Satna, Katni, Narsinghpur, Itarshi, Jabbalpur, Pipariya, Manmad, Khandoa, Bhushual, Jlgaon, Nasik, Igatpuri, Kalayan, Dadar.
During the up journey, the train will leave Howrah station at 08.20 hr. It will reach Mumbai CST at 23.50 hr. During the down journey, the train will leave Mumbai CST at 12.30 hr. It will reach Howrah at 06.30 hr.

Again the puja special trains will leave Alipurduar Junction on every Saturday from 17 September to 15 October. The dates are as follows:
17 September, 24 September, 01 October, 08 October & 15 October 2011.
The puja special trains will stop at Malda Town, Kishangang, New Jalpaiguri, Durgapur, Sainthia, Rampurhat, Siliguri, New Mal Junction, Binnaguri, Hasimara.
During the up journey, the train will leave Asansol station at 23.10 hr. It will reach Alipurduar Junction at 15.25 hr. During the down journey, the train will leave Alipurduar Junction at 19.30 hr. It will reach Asansol at 10.15 hr.

This is really sad that there are no special train from Mumbai to Howrah running on Fridays and Saturdays as usually the travelers tries to move on these days. 6th oct is deshera and the no one will be willing to move out on that…..hence there is a request to start train on fridays and saturdays as well…..
