Southern Railways announced Special trains for Navratri Puja in October 2011 & festival season 2011 in Tamil Nadu and Southern Andhra Pradesh region between Coimbatore, Rameshwaram, Thiruchirappalli, Chennai, Velankanni, Tirupati, etc. The festival season special trains will run in August, September, and October 2011. Here is the detailed information on these special trains’ timings & dates..
Train No.06051/06052 Coimbatore – Rameswaram – Coimbatore Weekly Specials (via. Erode, Tiruchchirappalli, Karaikkudi)
Train No.06051 Coimbatore–Rameswaram Weekly Special will leave Coimbatore at 19.45 hrs. on Saturdays from 6 August 2011 to 8 October 2011 and arrive Rameswaram at 07.00 hrs. the next day. Train No.06052 Rameswaram – Coimbatore Weekly Special will leave Rameswaram at 19.00 hrs. on Sundays from 7 August 2011 to 9.10.2011 and arrive Coimbatore at 05.00 hrs. the next day. The composition of the trains will be 1 First Class, 2 AC 3-tier, 10 Sleeper Class, 4 General Second Class and 2 luggage-cum-brake van coaches. The trains will stop at Tiruppur, Erode, Karur, Tiruchchirappalli, Pudukkottai, Chettinad, Karaikkudi, Devakottai Road, Kallal, Sivaganga, Manamadurai, Paramakudi, Ramanathapuram and Mandapam. Train No.06052 will stop at Coimbatore North also.
Train No.06058 Tiruchchirappalli – Chennai Egmore Weekly Special & Train No.06057 Chennai Egmore – Tiruchchirappalli Weekly Superfast Special (via. Villupuram, Mayiladuthurai, Thanjavur)
Train No.06058 Tiruchchirappalli – Chennai Egmore Weekly Special will leave Tiruchchirappalli at 22.10 hrs. on 22 August 2011, 29 August 2011 & 5 September 2011 and arrive Chennai Egmore at 06.00 hrs. the next day. Train No.06057 Chennai Egmore – Tiruchchirappalli Weekly Superfast Special will leave Chennai Egmore at 22.45 hrs. on 25 August 2011, 1 September 2011 & 8 September 2011 and arrive Tiruchchirappalli at 06.00 hrs. the next day. The composition of the trains will be 1 AC 2-tier, 2 AC 3-tier, 11 Sleeper Class, 2 General Second Class and 2 luggage-cum-brake van coaches. The trains will stop at Thanjavur, Kumbakonam, Mayiladuthurai, Sirkazhi, Chidambaram, Tiruppadiripuliyur, Villupuram, Chengalpattu and Tambaram. Train No.06058 will stop at Mambalam also.
Train No.06059/06060 Chennai Egmore – Velankanni – Chennai Egmore Specials (via. Villupuram, Mayiladuthurai, Thanjavur)
Train No.06059 Chennai Egmore – Velankanni Special will leave Chennai Egmore at 22.45 hrs. on 23 August 2011, 30 August 2011 & 6 September 2011 and arrive Velankanni at 08.00 hrs. the next day.Train No.06060 Velankanni – Chennai Egmore Special will leave Velankanni at 21.45 hrs. on 24 August 2011, 31 August 2011 & 7 September 2011 and arrive Chennai Egmore at 07.20 hrs. the next day. The composition of the trains will be 1 AC 2-tier, 2 AC 3-tier, 11 Sleeper Class, 2 General Second Class and 2 luggage-cum-brake van coaches. The trains will stop at Tambaram, Chengalpattu, Villupuram, Tiruppadiripuliyur, Chidambaram, Sirkazhi, Mayiladuthurai, Kumbakonam, Thanjavur, Tiruvarur and Nagapattinam. Train No.06062 Tiruchchirappalli – Chennai Egmore Weekly Special will leave Tiruchchirappalli at 22.10 hrs. on Mondays & Wednesdays from 1 August 2011 to 12 October 2011 (except 24 August 2011, 31 August 2011 & 7 September 2011) and arrive Chennai Egmore at 06.00 hrs. the next day. Train No.06061 Chennai Egmore – Tiruchchirappalli Weekly Superfast Special will leave Chennai Egmore at 22.45 hrs. on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 2 August 2011 to 13 October 2011 (except 23.8.11, 30.8.11 & 6.9.2011) and arrive Tiruchchirappalli at 06.00 hrs. the next day. Train No.06066 Tirupati – Coimbatore Weekly Superfast Special will leave Tirupati at 14.50 hrs. on Thursdays from 4 August 2011 to 13 October 2011 and arrive Coimbatore at 22.40 hrs. the same day. The composition of the trains will be 1 AC Chair Car, 7 Second Sitting, 6 General Second Class and 2 luggage-cum-brake van coaches.
