Chandra Darshan is the appearance of New Moon after Amavasya in Hindu month. It falls on the day following Amavasya (No Moon) or on the day after. Chandra Darshana Vrata, Chandra Vratham and Chandrodaya Vrata is observed on Chandra Darshan day.
In July 2015, Chandra Darshan falls on Dwitiya day (second tithi after Amavasya). Shravan Shukla Dwitiya is also observed as Shringar Dwitiya (Sindhara Dooj).
