Budh Pujan in Shravan Month

Budh Pujan, a vrat dedicated to Lord Budha (Planet Mercury) of Navagrahas, is observed on Budhwar (Wednesdays) in Shravan Month. In 2016, Budh Pujan dates are: August 3, August 10, August 17, August 24 and August 31 as per Marathi calendar.

It is mainly observed in Maharashtra and some places in Karnataka and Gujarat.

Those who are suffering from the Budh graha dosh, can perform Budh Pujan in Shravan month to get rid of the Budha graha dosh. Read Budha Graha Gayatri Mantra here.

Budh Puja in Shravan month is not widely observed in North India but for Hindupad readers we are giving the dates of Budh Puja 2016 dates in North India – July 20, July 27, August 3, August 10 and August 17.

Shravan Budhvar Pujan in Previous Years

In 2015, Budh Pujan dates were: August 19, August 26, September 2 and September 9 as per Marathi calendar. Budh Puja 2015 dates in North India – August 5, August 12, August 19 and August 26.

In 2014, Budh Pujan dates were: July 30, August 6, August 13 & August 20. Budh Puja 2014 dates in North India were – July 16, July 23, July 30 & August 6.

In 2013, Budh Pujan dates are: August 14, August 21, August 28 and September 4. It is mainly observed in Maharashtra and some places in Karnataka and Gujarat. Budh Puja 2013 dates in North India – July 24, July 31, August 7, August 14 and August 21.

In 2012, Budh Pujan dates are: July 25, August 1, August 8 & August 15. Budh Puja 2012 dates in North India – July 4, July 11, July 18, July 25 & August 1.
