Amavasya June 2012 date, Time of No Moon day in June 2012

Amavasya is June 2012 is Ashada Amavasya (No Moon in Ashada Month) in North Indian Hindi calendars and Jyeshta Amavasya (Amavasya in Jyeshta mahina) in Marathi, Gujarati, Kannada, and Telugu calendars. Amavasya, the No Moon day in Hinduism, is considered as important day for Shraddh Tharpan, other Shraddh karma and offering donations to Brahmins.

Amavasya June 2012 date is June 19. Amavasya Time – begins at 6.33 PM on June 18th and ends at 8.31 PM on 19th June.

Amavasya of June 2012 is the last day for Jyeshta month in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh. In other North Indian Hindu calendars, it marks the end of Krishna paksha in Ashada Month and on the next day Shukla paksha begins.
