Amavasya or No Moon day in February 2010 is a Shani Amavasya. This Amavasya is Falgun Amavasya as per North Indian calendars and Magh Amavasya as per other traditional Hindu Calendars. During the Thailabhishek, people offer a piece of black cloth, black Til, Til oil and fruits to Lord Shanishwara.
