Akshaya Tritiya is an auspicious day to perform Kumbha daanam (donating pot and offerings) to the Brahmin. Lakshmi Puja and Gauri puja are also performed. Parashuram Jayanti puja, Chandan Puja to Lord Krishna are also observed on Akshaya Tritiya. Here is a list of stotras, mantras, and prayers to chant on Akshaya Tritiya.
Uda kumbha daanam Sankalpam (Mantra to chant while donating pot):
“Sri parameshwara preethyartha muda kumbhadaanoktha phala vaapyartham brahmana yodakumbha daanam karishye thadanga kalasha pujyadhikam cha karishye”
Worship the pot and the Brahmin with this mantra and donate the pot to the brahmin
“Esha dharmaghato data brahma Vishnu shivathmakah
Asya pradhanatsa kalamama santhu manorathah”
Those who donate pot for the peace of their dead ancestors’ souls Chant this mantra:
“Pithroonamakshaya thrupthyartha mudakumbhadaanam karishye” – sankalpa mantra
Worship the Brahmin and chant this mantra while donating pot:
“Esha dharmaghato data brahma Vishnu shivathmakah
Asyapradhana thrupthyanthu pitharassa pithamaha
Gandhodaka thilairyuktham snanam kumbham phalanvitham
Pitrubhyassam pradaswami akshayya mupathishtathu”
Chandana puja to Krishna on Akshaya Tritiya:
Worship Lord Krishna with shodashopachar and chant this mantra while pasting chandan to the idol.
“Yam karothi thruthiyayaam
Krishnam chandanam bhushitham
Vaishakhasyasithe pakshe
Sayathyachyutha mandiram”
Parashurama jayanti mantram:
“Jamadagnya mahaveera kshatriyaantha kara prabho
Gruhanarghyam mayadattam krupayaa parameshwaraa”
Chant this mantra and offer arghya to Parashurama.
