Advance Booking of Accommodation in Tirumala became more Trasparent.. With a view to give transparent services to pilgrims in advance booking of rooms in Tirumala, the temple management of TTD is set to bring many changes in existing accommodation system.
The pilgrims have the facility to book rooms 120 days in advance through online. The cancellation facility is ordered to be provided to the online advance booking. The cancellation will be allowed up to the day in advance of one complete day to the accommodation date irrespective of slots. No cancellation will be allowed and no money will be refunded on before the day of accommodation date irrespective of slots, if the accommodation is not utilised. For instance, if the pilgrim books accommodation for September 5, he or she should cancel the room before the midnight of September 3. (ie. On the intervening night of September 3 and 4)
TTD has also introduced some incentives to the pilgrims for online advance bookings from June 15 onwards. The pilgrims are being refunded 50% if they vacate the rooms before 12 hours and 25% if they vacate the rooms between 12 and 18 hours. The amount will be credited back to their original source of payments within seven working days.

TTD has earmarked rooms in Nandakam Rest House exclusively for Rs.300 Special Entry Darshan pilgrims. The pilgrims can book 250 rooms in each session. The allotment and vacation of rooms will be done at Nandakam Rest House itself. The management has fixed room tariff as Rs.250 if the pilgrim books room between 7am and 2pm session and Rs.350 for the rooms booked between 3pm and 6am session of next day. TTD is also coming up with exclusive Tonsuring and Cloak room facilities in this rest house for the comfort of this category of pilgrims.
